Earth Stone Basins are carved from a single slab of natural marble stone.

 

Exclusive stone pieces are first pre selected in various mines & quarries.  Only the finest marble and best quality stone is chosen.

 

The individual character of each stone piece shines through on all Earth Stone Basins and reflects the unique character of the block from which is it carved.

 

Marble is sourced from all over the world including Greece, Italy, Spain, China & Turkey and individually hand chosen to ensure only the finest marble is used.

 

Once the Marble is chosen, the slabs are then taken to the manufacturing plant for processing.

 

The Master Craftsman Stonemason spends countless hours by hand chipping away and carving with various small hammers and chisels to create each vision of inspiration.

 

Much of the carving is done by hand with calculated blows from various shaped hammers, flat pointed chisels and small diamond saws.

 

Using the natural personality of each Marble block - the Craftsman works with the stones natural crystalline structure and with the veining to design beautiful colouration which match the spirit of the stone.

 

Quality time is spent in this manufacturing process.....

The Basins are then polished to a fine shine and remain endlessly beautiful in form and appearance.

 

The Basins are completely waterproof and sealed - so are not porous - the sealing brings out the natural veins and glow of the Marble.

 

Each Basin has its own unique character and style therefore no two basins are the same.

 

If two or more basins are required for matching purposes on one vanity, it is beast to order all the bowls at the same time so the Marble batch will be taken from the same part of the quarry.
